Cozumel Greeting Cards

The Reef greeting card was an “intuitive painting,” meaning, I didn’t know what I would paint when I began. Workers were knocking down trees to build a road across from my house, and painting helped me to stay calm. In the end, this piece became about the ebbs and flows of life. How cyclical everything is. Full of highs (symbolized by suns and mountain tops) and depths (symbolized by the water and the reef).
